Miami
The Miami tower has eighteen floors with a maximum of six apartments per floor. In the Miami project, a balcony is linked to an upper balcony. The upper balcony will be a traditional balcony. The balcony below will be surrounded with glass and will serve as a winter garden where the facade can be opened. The combination is repeated in a staggered manner across the facade so that a plastic facade image of protruding glass boxes is created. The facade consists of glass and a horizontal section of strips of white concrete. The resident can ultimately choose an apartment with a balcony or an apartment with a winter garden. Because the balconies are spread across the facade, you prevent wind fall and therefore wind nuisance. The outdoor space on the dune on the first floor is made of wooden decking to enhance the beach feeling. The entrance to Miami is marked by a large canopy in the shape of the balconies. Behind the entrance with its own access to the outside is the bicycle shed. Next to the entrance is a fitness room that everyone can use. The winter gardens give diversity to the outdoor spaces and provide a beach (Dune) experience during all seasons.
